Title:
Failed to boot after upgrade due to video driver

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When I upgraded my system to 20.04, the boot sequence hung.

When I changed my GRUB to include nomodeset, things booted up fine,
but not much functionality for my display.

I finally added modeprobe.blacklist=nouveau in order to get the
machine to boot and get more display functionality.
