I prefer to avoid installing daily images on my laptop since I use it
for work. But anyway I noticed the problem is fixed after an update on
Ubuntu 19.10. The problem has been fixed several times in the past and
then after another update, it will come again. It would be nice to hear
where the problem comes from and what has changed to fix the problem.

Title:
  kernel panic at boot time

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Since several weeks there is a kernel panic after the upgrade to linux-image
4.18.0-15-generic.
Do you have an idea why it happened and when it will be fixed?
Currently I have have to press several times the escape key when starting my
laptop in order to select a working Linux kernel like 4.18.0-14-generic.
