You have been subscribed to a public bug: I am running an Ubuntu 16.04 server running on an HP Proliant chassis with several lxc containers running on zfs. While performing a series of debian updates on the host and container, as well as container destruction/creation, the kernel spits out a stack trace indicating that the there was a hung task while it was performing writeback in zfs.
If I attempt to perform a "sync" command on the host, the command will not return. Also, if I attempt to reboot the server with the reboot command, the server never reboots. A power cycle is required. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: lxc zfs -- file system lockup with zfs hung task https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1686604 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
