Alessio, a missing driver is not a bug in udisks.
** Package changed: udisks (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu) ** Summary changed: - SD Card not detected when inserted in Reader - ASUS X551CA - Ubuntu 12.04 64B + New RealTek SD card reader has no driver -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1266535 Title: New RealTek SD card reader has no driver Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: On my ASUS X551CA (model with FreeDOS, immediately replaced by a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04 64Bit) the SD card reader does not seem to access any SD card in any way. WHen an SD card is introduced into the slot, there is no reaction by the system. USB Flash drives are OK (when introduced they're mounted and a new windows pops up, showing their content). I did the test with two diferent SD cards, working OK on different PCs: a SANDisk SDHC32GB and a Kingston SD 2GB. I also tried to boot the computer with the SD card already in the slot, but - again - no fun. Please let me know if I can help further by adding info or running any additional test.
