I reproduced the problem also with 7.2.7 upstream. It worked with master
branch however. I haven't bisected it to the specific commit, as 7.2.8
should be released soon, and I'll push to get this in focal.

I tested with 7.2.5 and 7.2.6 and 7.2.7 upstream branches and not able to
recreate the issue.
