Bah, I did miss that the ubuntu-regression-suite test now has a python
dependency. I'll fix that.

I've removed the python-dev build dependency. It looks like the only
thing that would need that is perf, but we're disable building the
python bindings anyhow so it appears we really do not need it at all.

  linux build and autopkg tests need to use python2 instead of python.
  Even better, please use python3.

  debian/control
  debian/tests/control

  need the change, plus make sure that either python2 or python3 are
  used in the shebang.
