Title:
  Desktop freezes - requiring restart

Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers-435 package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Desktop froze while doing light web-browsing listening to music
(spotify) and running some containers in docker (with low load). The
following error in logs indicating that the freeze is related to the
nvidia drivers (best effort guess from my side)

  lsb_release -rd:
  Description: Ubuntu 19.10
  Release: 19.10

  Expected to happen:
  Normal working order

  What happened instead:
Both displays froze, showing a static image with input not affecting visuals.
Music continued to play

I used REISUB to reboot, this worked fine.

I have the full journalctl output that I can provide (either in
scrubbed form, or original form if provided privately) if that is
  useful.
