Public bug reported:

After a recent update on my Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS OS (I don't remember
which), my SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad stopped working. On a recent
thread about linux-inputs on spinics (https://www.spinics.net/lists
/linux-input/msg57163.html) I saw that psmouse.synaptics_intertouch has
recently been set to 1. I therefore changed it back to 0 in my grub file
and now everything works fine again. Just wanted to let you know, in
case this problem occurred elsewhere. My Laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad
T480.
