I believe kernel linux-image-4.15.0-73-generic (currently in proposed) will move to 'main' on January 5, 2020. For enabling proposed (suggested in comment #13 and others in the bug report 1854798 I believe this is a duplicate of, which will let you use it now) see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories/Ubuntu and https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed If it solves your issue (best if done before it's live for everyone Jan 5 probably) PLEASE report back here that here it works.
