Public bug reported: As of October 29, I can no longer connect to my Sony MDR-1000x headphones using A2DP. The gnome sound manager has the setting, but when I select it and use the test button, it is only mono. I tried the gnome extension https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/906/sound-output-device-chooser/ and the option is always grayed out there. I tried to make A2DP the default using the method described here: https://medium.com/@overcode/fixing-bluetooth-in-ubuntu-pop-os-18-04-d4b8dbf7ddd6 I tried to install some tools to try and get a better idea what might be going on.
