I think it is related to the acpi driver issue here:

here :

Intel LPSS
To fix the intel_lpss_module the patch from this paste must be applied to the
kernel.

Title:
urget resume from s2idle deep error

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  My laptop is 'Dell xps13 9370 2 in 1 ' , I can perfectly install the ubuntu
19.10 version.
The default setting of '/sys/power/mem_sleep' is [s2idle] not deep. In the
[s2idle] mode it take
very long time (about 5 mins ) to resume from sleep and sometimes i have a
black screen when resume
  from it.

After changing the /sys/power/mem_sleep to [deep] mode which is said to save
more energy, I got
  a total black screen problem.

Please help and fix this bug.
