Public bug reported: The system does not wake up successfully after a suspend, and it causes a hard crash recoverable only by holding the power switch for a few seconds. This is similar to the issue described in: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1201038 with one change.
The previous bug appears to have been resolved by the reporter updating the bios from version A03 to A11. However, I am on the latest BIOS version offered by Dell (A13), but still face an issue when suspending the computer. Just to be sure, I reflashed the BIOS with the latest version offered on the Dell website.
