Public bug reported: I asked the following as a question and was suggested to report it as a bug, so here it goes:
I am using ubuntu touch on my galaxy nexus, together with the 'official' samsung HDMI dock. However, when docked, the screen is not mirrored to my hdmi display. My research got me to the following information on this: Apparently the stock android kernel has a setting for this particular hdmi device which allows it only to show video (and not even subtitles).
