Public bug reported: I was trying to troubleshoot this issue and was advised to use "ubuntu- bug linux" using a TTY console since the graphics console kept going on and off.
The issue is that when Ubuntu loads and is at the graphical login prompt the display keeps going on and off, when switching to a TTY console it stays on but keeps throwing an error which says NO EDID Read and the OS is unusable.
