Public bug reported:

In Disco branch of linux-raspi2 package, the support of Raspberry Pi's PoE Hat
is added. Unfortunately the fan speed cannot be controlled the same way as in
Raspbian.
In Raspbian, we could set the fan to spin when temperature exceeds certain
value by adding dtparam in conifg.txt file such as below (this will let the fan
start to spin only if CPU temperature exceeds 80 C):

dtparam=poe_fan_temp0=80000,poe_fan_temp0_hyst=5000
dtparam=poe_fan_temp1=82000,poe_fan_temp1_hyst=2000

Unfortunately, with the linux-raspi2 package in Ubuntu Disco for
RaspberryPi, the fan never stops and it makes the Raspberry Pi extremely
noisy.

** Affects: linux-raspi2 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
