Public bug reported: When I try sudo apt-get update I get the following errors:

Many of these bugs are trivial and are easily fixed. Others show design flaws in Ubuntu that need to be addressed and are much harder to fix. Plus hfsplus has stopped working for no known reason. I need it just long enough to get my data off the drive so I can reformat it.
