I have the 15-dc0015np Omen by Hp and using the Ubuntu 18.04, this issue 
appears when the battery is full and the charge is pluged. With the kernel 4.18 
this bugs dissapear, but another one appears like this "Namespace lookup 
failure, AE_NOT_FOUND". I have tested all grub options and doing acpi=off 
works, but obviously I lose all acpi function, like reboot or shutdown.

Bug description:
  While I'm using Ubuntu Server version on my laptop(HP omen 15, 
CPU:i5-8300H,GPU:GTX1050Ti), it always says "[ time.time] acpi INT3400:00: 
Unsupported event [0x86]",
  In Ubuntu Desktop version, after I turn on my computer, it'll not going on 
but stay at a screen and says "[ time.time] acpi INT3400:00: Unsupported event 
[0x86]"
