Public bug reported:

Hello,

the laptop runs flawlessly with Windows 10 and Linux except that in
Linux the battery is not found in the system. I tried launching the
Kernel with all acpi_osi and acpi_os_name parameters that the DSDT
presented and with acpi=force, no luck.

I patched the DSDT, it had 6 errors but 182 warnings, 250 remarks and
350 optimisations. I added under External(...) variable definitions one
entry and commented out another that got me rid of the errors and I was
able to compile a dsdt.aml. I duplicated the actual initrd and vmlinuz
entries and cat the dsdt to the initrd. Restarted everything and it
worked but no battery was found. It is completly invisible to the
system.

No my expertise has reached its limits, maybe you can have a look at it.

Thank you very much, tell me what other infos you need.

Greetings,
Olli
