'xinput --list-props 12' output is here [3], I tried to change the values but no success unfortunately. 4. One last piece of information, somehow I managed to have my touchpad worked absolutely fine during my previous attempt of Ubuntu 16.04 installation this morning. The only parameters I changed was xinput set-prop 12 302 1 1 1 xinput set-prop 12 293 40 40 0 I had to discard that installation as there was issue in sudo apt-get update, it failed to get the package, which seem to be linked with the wifi issue. So I connected to proper wifi and tried fresh installation and ended up loosing my stable touchpad. I would really appreciate any help in fixing this problem. Many thanks for your time!
