This bug is awaiting verification that the kernel in -proposed solves the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed- bionic' to 'verification-done-bionic'. If the problem still exists, change the tag 'verification-needed-bionic' to 'verification-failed- bionic'.
If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed. It's because of losing some of its status while switching mode if runtime PM is enabled. It's a generic issue that would happen on some other devices, too. This patch restores devices' config space on runtime resume. [Test] Test and verify it on machines with Nvidia discrete graphics. [Fix] Fix by saving and restoring config space over a runtime suspend cycle even if the device is not bound. [Regression Potential] Low. It saves and restores states during suspending and resuming.
