Just a small quick with ID specific to this laptop was added. -- I noticed that the audio LEDs on this model's keyboard were not functioning. After a great deal of research, I found I needed to patch the kernel to apply an existing fixup for my particular model. I built a custom kernel to test it, and it does indeed fix my problem.
