Artful and the 4.13 kernel are EOL. Does this bug still happen with the 4.15 or newer kernel?

Issue with 'vboxdrv'. Solution: use earlier kernel. I went back to: 4.13.0-45-generic, the last of the 4.13 series. And now VirtualBox works as it should.
