Title:
  4.13.0-39 issues with Cinnamon and Linux Mint

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When updating to kernel 4.13.0-39 from 4.10.0-35-generic Cinnamon breaks. It
goes to fallback mode. It gets "fixed" if I boot in the previous kernel.
  This is, on normal operation, Cinnamon should run on any kernel version, but
instead, it goes to fallback mode with Kernel 4.13.

  System info:

  1) cat /proc/version_signature > version.log
  Ubuntu 4.10.0-35.39~16.04.1-generic 4.10.17

  2) sudo lspci -vnvn > lspci-vnvn.log
  Is attached as a document.

  3) lsb_release -rd
  Description:  Linux Mint 18.2 Sonya
  Release:      18.2

  DISTRIB_ID=LinuxMint
  DISTRIB_RELEASE=18.2
  DISTRIB_CODENAME=sonya
  DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Linux Mint 18.2 Sonya"
  NAME="Linux Mint"
  VERSION="18.2 (Sonya)"
  ID=linuxmint
  ID_LIKE=ubuntu
  PRETTY_NAME="Linux Mint 18.2"
  VERSION_ID="18.2"

  Thanks in advance for your help.
