So, I have to reboot the computer in order to recover the normal automount behaviour. When I first installed this device it was recognized by the kernel as a remote controller. To get it working as a multi-card reader I had to blacklist mceusb driver. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aditional info ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ubuntu version: 12.04.3 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-55-generic #85-Ubuntu SMP Wed Oct 2 12:29:27 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Card reader (commercial name): CoolBox CR-600 lsusb: Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0bda:0161 Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
