  sigio test in stress_smoke_test will take about 7 hours to run

Bug description:
  I'm not sure if this is an expected behaviour.

  The test itself took about 7 hours to complete on an ARM64 node with
  X-edge kernel (4.15.0-13-generic)

  successful run completed in 24297.89s (6 hours, 44 mins, 57.89 secs)

  This is not very ideal for a system that will be tested against
  different kernels.
