Title:
Ubuntu 17.10 freezes randomly
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Hello, since I had Fedora 26 and it froze, same happened to Fedora 27.
So I thought was Fedora the issue. Then I cleaned it and installed
Ubuntu 17.10 instead. Sadly the issue did not go away.
Checking online I tried changing Wayland = false in the /etc/gdm3/custom.conf
package (didn't work)
I tried to reinstall the NVidia packages: sudo apt install nvidia-384/5
(didn't work)
I tried with logging in not using wayland, but I can not log in with anything
else than GNOME or GNOME CLASSIC otherwise the system justs reboots immediately
after the log in.
I guess you have all my details. ASUS computer, Ubuntu 64bits. Hope you can
find what I did not.
Thanks in advance for any help!
