I'm seeing frequent freezes on kernel 4.13.0-16-generic. No issues when
using 4.10.0-38-generic.

The last hour of kernel logs before the crash:

Title:
  No matter the interface Ubuntu 17.10 freezes

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  No matter the interface I choose Ubuntu 17.10 freezes/ crashes. Unity,
  Ubuntu (Gnome), Ubuntu (Gnome) with Xorg, Kodi, and SteamOS. I looked
  it up, and everybody has had this issue in the beta constantly. There
  was no fix, and it only seems to get worse. Most of the time it
  freezes after 20 minutes of running Ubuntu.
