Hi Christopher, Okay I understand, I shall do as requested asap. For Your info
Ive tested 12.04 (uname -a returned with kernel 3.2.0-5.6-generic-pae) on another machine the kids use and all seems okay with bluetooth. I managed to replicate the fault though. The speaker I have been using as a test piece has the ability to connect via the headphone port using a hard wired cable connector. If this connector is still in the speaker only and try to connect through bluetooth, I can get the fault I am seeing. Removal of the hard wire adaptor cable from the speaker, allowed connection of the device to the PC via bluetooth. With this in mind I conducted the reconnection of the same speaker via bluetooth to my Dell Latitude running Saucy and upstream kernel, ensuring no adaptor leads are connected, I still could not connect via bluetooth.
