@aluvian This might be a longshot, but you might try adding the System76 PPA and installing their nVIDIA driver. The reason? All of their laptops are custom spec'd laptops made by CLEVO, so thier custom tweaks might help you. The other thing to try and helped my situation (I do not have the nVIDIA driver) is to download the Intel Linex Driver tool and run that.
