I took the laptop of the station and put it back on. Still nothing happend so I decided to reboot the system. I opened a browser when the system froze. The mouse was still moving but X was dead in all other regards. To see whether something was alive I tried to switch to the console via Ctr-Alt-F1. Nothing happend for about 5 to 10 seconds and then the kernel panic came up. I took a quick photo of the screen which I attached. My system is running Ubuntu 17.04. I'm using an upstream kernel: Linux 4.11.11-041111-generic #201707150838 SMP x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux My Laptop is a ThinkPad T460s and I'm using the graphics drivers from intel.
