Public bug reported:

SRU Justification

    Impact:
The upstream process for stable tree updates is quite similar
in scope to the Ubuntu SRU process, e.g., each patch has to
demonstrably fix a bug, and each patch is vetted by upstream
by originating either directly from a mainline/stable Linux tree or
a minimally backported form of that patch. The v4.11.6 upstream stable
patch set is now available. It should be included in the Ubuntu
       kernel as well.

       git://git.kernel.org/

    TEST CASE: TBD

The following patches from the v4.11.6 stable release shall be
applied:

drm/i915: Do not drop pagetables when empty
PCI/PM: Add needs_resume flag to avoid suspend complete optimization
drm/i915: Prevent the system suspend complete optimization
partitions/msdos: FreeBSD UFS2 file systems are not recognized
efi: Fix boot panic because of invalid BGRT image address
xtensa: don't use linux IRQ #0
s390/kvm: do not rely on the ILC on kvm host protection fauls
Revert "drm/i915: Restore lost "Initialized i915" welcome message"
drm/i915: Fix 90/270 rotated coordinates for FBC
drm/i915: Workaround VLV/CHV DSI scanline counter hardware fail
drm/i915: Guard against i915_ggtt_disable_guc() being invoked unconditionally
drm/i915: Always recompute watermarks when distrust_bios_wm is set, v2.
drm/i915: Disable decoupled MMIO
