Bug description:
  After upgrading to kernel 4.10.0-21.14 serial lirc device (ir receiver) is 
not recognized.
  (Using Ubuntu 16.04 x64)

  
  Output of "dmesg |grep lirc" is:

  After downgrading to kernel 4.8.0-53.56 the output is:

  and ir receiver is functional.
