Commit 616badd2fb49 ("powerpc/powernv: Use OPAL call for TCE kill on NVLink2") forced all TCE kills to go via the OPAL call for NVLink2. However the PHB3 implementation of TCE kill was still being called directly from some functions which in some circumstances caused a machine check The following commit was added into zesty using LP#1667081 ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Ubuntu on IBM Power Systems Bug Triage (ubuntu-power-triage) Status: New ** Tags: architecture-ppc64le bugnameltc-154403 severity-high targetmilestone-inin--- ** Tags added: architecture-ppc64le bugnameltc-154403 severity-high targetmilestone-inin--- ** Changed in: ubuntu Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu on IBM Power Systems Bug Triage (ubuntu-power-triage) ** Package changed: ubuntu => linux (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1690155 Title: Fix NVLINK2 TCE route Status in linux package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: == Comment: #0 - Breno Henrique Leitao <bren...@br.ibm.com> - 2017-05-11 09:14:17 == Commit 616badd2fb49 ("powerpc/powernv: Use OPAL call for TCE kill on NVLink2") forced all TCE kills to go via the OPAL call for NVLink2.
