Since the last updates, the UI doesn't crash anymore. However, I still
have the following errors in dmesg:

[ 5.564714] brcmf_c_preinit_dcmds: Firmware version = wl0: Nov 10 2015
06:38:10 version 7.35.177.61 (r598657) FWID 01-ea662a8c

...
[ 17.702866] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): wlp2s0: link becomes ready

[ 348.662487] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: priv: HUB0: 10ecc0 ffffffff (1b40822c)

I don't know if it's important. My system feels stable now, so I won't
mind if you closed the bug right now. But given I still have those
errors, maybe you want to keep it open.

Title:
[drm:intel_pipe_update_end [i915_bpo]] *ERROR* Atomic update failure
  on pipe C

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged
Status in linux source package in Xenial:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Dell XPS 15, Ubuntu 16.04 (Ubuntu 4.4.0-59.80-generic 4.4.35), freshly
  updated. Running BTRFS and nouveau.

The UI crashes, and put me back to the login screen after 30 seconds.

This happens when I start softwares based on webkit (stremio, opera,
chrome, etc). But generally only the first time. After login back and
starting the program again, it works without crashing.

The full dmesg error message is:

  [ 113.711453] [drm:intel_pipe_update_end [i915_bpo]] *ERROR* Atomic
  update failure on pipe C (start=5158 end=5159) time 130 us, min 1073,
  max 1079, scanline start 1071, end 1080

  Repeated several times.

  I also get a:

  [ 762.958586] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: priv: HUB0: 10ecc0 ffffffff
  (1d40822c)

  And a:

  [13925.500344] brcmf_cfg80211_reg_notifier: not a ISO3166 code

but don't know if it's relevant.
