You have been subscribed to a public bug: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS xfce/xubuntu
What happened is for a long time I had an issue that when I want to work on always on computer and I want to get the screen, the screen would be black with one line on top (with time) somewhat available and mouse would be working but nothing else. The time of the wait would depend how long I didn't use the machine. If I login for another machine and do top I would see that CPU is being used to process something graphical. I was able to fix the bug when playing with screen saver controls. Even though I was running xfce/xubuntu gnome screen saver was active and making problems and ubuntu offer to kill gnome screen saver which I accepted. I might get the same issue if I restart the machine but the problem is hopefully fixed now for me I just wanted to share the knowledge. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Invalid ** Tags: bot-comment -- Variable wait when going out of suspend using xfce/xubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1037134 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
