Disk model inside ST500LT012-9WS142 (checked via "Disks" tool). Disk is connetcted via USB 3.0 to my laptop ASUS X55U. Benchmark shows 36.8 MB/s (read) 34.6 (write) 23.95 (access). Newest kernel 3.8.0-30-generic of Ubuntu 13.04 (64-bit mode). However same benchmark (via "Disks" tool) but from ISO CD (without updates) shows results 86.7 (read) 78.7 (write) 23.61 (access).
