Same result when removing the lowest Kernel (all of them). Canonical Kernel permanently stalls on restart but runs OK. Plus, the boot sequence passes by the Grub menu under 4.10.0-0 (not dual-boot, UEFI). Since last night, suspend mode won’t wake-up under rc3 (no tty). Kernel 4.9 stable (.0 and .1) are working properly. 4.10-rc1=Kernel panic. FYI, for a couple of months now, Gnome Software refuses to install custom kernel. 20170107 build. --- ApportVersion: 2.20.4-0ubuntu1 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: Unity DistroRelease: Ubuntu 17.04 InstallationDate: Installed on 2017-01-09 (0 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu-Kylin 17.04 "Zesty Zapus" - Alpha amd64 (20170109) Package: linux (not installed) Tags: zesty Uname: Linux 4.9.1-040901-generic x86_64 UnreportableReason: The running kernel is not an Ubuntu kernel UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) UserGroups: adm cdrom dip lpadmin plugdev sambashare sudo _MarkForUpload: True To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1655123/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
