You have been subscribed to a public bug: For rc2 and rc3, the machine stalls on first restart only (no tty) and runs OK after (no shutdown problems). Same result when removing the lowest Kernel (all of them). Canonical Kernel permanently stalls on restart but runs OK. Plus, the boot sequence passes by the Grub menu under 4.10.0-0 (not dual-boot, UEFI).
Since last night, suspend mode won’t wake-up under rc3 (no tty). Kernel 4.9 stable (.0 and .1) are working properly. 4.10-rc1=Kernel panic. FYI, for a couple of months now, Gnome Software refuses to install custom kernel. 20170107 build. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Kernel 4.10 stalls on restart https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1655123 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
