Hello Christopher,

I am a very casual recreational user. My old lap top is probably now, too old.
I have to install using forcepae. apt-get install-f did not work. I'm using
only the canonical repositories that came with the install.

Hope this helps,

John

The package system is broken

Check if you are using third-party repositories. If so, disable them, because
they are a common source of problems.
Furthermore, run the following command in a Terminal: apt-get install -f

The following packages have unmet dependencies:

linux-image-extra-4.8.0-32-generic: Depends: linux-image-4.8.0-32-generic but
it is not installed
linux-image-generic: Depends: linux-image-4.8.0-32-generic but it is not
installed
