I know gnome-panel and the fn keys worked in 3.2.0-52, and have reverted back to that kernel. Up to this point, everything worked very nicely, and as of the kernel switch, things started breaking. At GNOME3 launch, gnome-panel went from loading within 5 seconds to taking more than 20 seconds. Notebook Fn keys failed to operate. As I have said, reversion to kernel 3.2.0-52 has solved those issues. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS Release: 12.04 --- AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.24.
