Bug description:
It seems a common bug ever since several years back, however no
conclusive fix have been found. Here's my problem:
First, I have an HP pavilion dv6 laptop. I recently installed Ubuntu
16.04 alongside Windows 10 by partitioning my HD. Everything is
working flawlessly except the 'suspend'/hibernate process - which
needless to say is very important !
The laptop will not sleep/suspend if I close my lid. More
intriguingly, if I press 'suspend' manually, the screen goes all blank
(black) and the fan starts to work alongside everything (wifi-button
capslock... all as they were before pressing suspend) but I cannot do
anything so stop it. My only option every single time is to use brute
force and poower-off via the power-button and then on again.
Please help me fix this and for several hundred others...
