Title:
[Natty-Beta2] Wireless hot-switch off causes ssytem freeze on Dell
  Vostro 3500 Laptop

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Switching off the wireless adapter from the hard switch causes a system
freeze. Couldn't recover it since keyboard and mouse weren't responding.
  My steps to reproduce this:
   # Turned on machine, login.
   # Connected wireless, bluetooth on.
   # Noticed wireless LED indicator was off (Bug #753857), but desktop
indicator was on and connected successfully to my home network. Internet
working (it is now, as I'm reporting from Natty).
   # Switched off wireless adapter from the hard-switch provided in my laptop.
Bluetooth LED turned off immediately, so did desktop indicator. Wireless
desktop indicator was still on.
   # After a second, system was frozen. Got to turn off from Power button.

Tried the same steps after installing proprietary driver and the same
issue was present (Bug #753857 too).

I consider this a regression, since it works fine on Maverick with
kernel 2.6.35-28 with Broadcom proprietary driver installed.
