Ubuntu setup cannot see the Ethernet adapter, and to install Ubuntu I had to connect a USB Ethernet dongle. I get the feeling that the ibmebus driver is missing from the kernel, and I've attached a file that the bug reporter created with the dmesg log from Ubuntu.
