Plasma freezes on 16.04

Bug description:
Every once in a while, maybe 4-5 times a day at work, my fresh install
of 16.04 Kubuntu freezes and I can't click on anything whatsoever. I
need to reboot every time.
The keyboard still works though, as I was able to start a new session.
At login screen, the following message kept showing up every 5 seconds
