I think the issues are caused by mixing linux-signed with -image with
the same ABI version, so try uninstalling linux-signed-* and see if you
still get these

Title:
Tainted kernel: lspci, udevadm crashed on 4.4 kernel

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
while verifying bug #1599109 , I'm not able to use certain commands:
  lspci, udevadm

  steps to reproduce:
  1. fresh isntall
  2. install testing kernel

A further testing on the tainted kernel issues:

reinstall with xenial(14.04.0): after suspend and resume similar
tainted message will show up while using udevadm, lspci, hence both
program hung/crashed like in tested kernel.

reinstall with trusty(14.04.3 with 3.19 kernel) there is no tainted
kernel however. But after upgrade to linux-generic-lts-xenial(4.4
kernel) system became very unstable on this system, failed at suspend.
