Also tried with an old 12.04 disti but same effect. I have the feeling I'm doing something wrong but really can't find so I came to the conclusion that must be a bug showing up for whatever reason. Hardware is a Dell Precision M4800 with latest BIOS version (A13) let me know if you need further information from what is already contained in the apport file.
