Turns out that the broken commit was only ever applied to unstable, and xenial includes a version which omits the changes to the vsdo link flags. Marking invalid since the bug doesn't apply to any released kernel.

These flags are mutually exclusive, and the last one in the compiler options takes precedence. The intention was that -no-pie would be placed at the start of the flags so that a later -shared would take precedence, and the situation now is that the vdso lacks dynamic symbol tables, breaking some applications.
