damien, These are different kernels. You tested it on xenial kernel. So you can change to "verification-done-xenial". But in this case the verification is not so important, because the fix came from upstream and it is very simple.
You can try other kernels too. But since you are not very experienced in Ubuntu I suggest not doing this. You've done more than enough to get this problem fixed.
