Public bug reported: Currently on Ubuntu 16.10 64-bit and the camera is still extremely dark. I've tried multiple applications to try and use it and no luck. Chipset of the camera taken from win7 driver is vimicro332 First I had the same problem in win7 with driver from lenovo website, at least I found another one with a checkbox named quality. If I turn it on picture much to dark. If I turn it off picture ok
