Seeing there are two reports of people who used to experience this but are no longer affected and the fact that Samiux did not report back saying he still sees this problem, I will close the ticket. Thanks, everyone.

When running Ubuntu 10.04 for a while, say 15 minutes or longer, the adapter cannot transmit data or even cannot reconnect to the router when it was disconnected. My dd-wrt router shows that there are some errors when the data is transmitting. The worst thing is that the wireless card would be disabled and could not be used again until I boot the notebook computer with Windows system to activate the wireless adapter. I searched from the Google and found that someone out there has the similar problem.
